The GCC meets Thursday evenings from 7-10 PM at Barnes & Noble on Haywood Rd. GCC meetings are open to all adults as well as scholastic players who are at least age 14 or rated at least 1000 USCF.

For scholastic beginners, the Greenville Scholastic Chess Club meets every Thursday night at Greenville Roly Poly Sandwich Shop. The GSCC is sponsored by ThinkMove Chess Academy.

Coming Up at the GCC
The GCC typically holds a 3-round USCF quick-rated tournament each Thursday night starting at 8 PM. Players not participating in the tournaments are still welcome to come and play casual games.
GCC Upcoming Schedule:
August 16 - USCF quick-rated tournament- G/15 d3, 3 rounds
- Rd. 1 starts at 8 PM; please register by 7:50 PM if you intend to play
- EF $5 (includes $2 attendance fee to offset future expenses)
